Every fall, Charleston puts on its costumes and comes together for the CF Bites Annual Halloween Gala, one of the most anticipated charity events in the Lowcountry. Started in 2021 at Holy City Brewery, this event is where CF Bites was born.
Guests enjoy an evening of live entertainment, competitive costume judging, a silent auction featuring donations from Charleston’s best local businesses, and a genuine community moment around a cause that changes lives.

The very first CF Bites event at Holy City Brewery. Taylor Lentz throws a Halloween party. Over $60,000 raised in one night. CF Bites is born.
Word spreads. More sponsors, more guests, bigger venue. The gala becomes a Charleston tradition.
The foundation is formalized as a 501(c)(3). The gala grows in size and impact.
